ISLAMABAD: After a long and complicated explanation over his party’s decision, Pakistan Peoples Party presidential candidate Raza Rabbani has announced boycotting the election.
“The ruling party has got nervous after seeing a unanimous candidate for the presidential election,” he said addressing with other party members.
“The candidates have been made confined in the capital city of Islamabad. We can’t leave till July 26. How is it possible then for me to visit Quetta, Karachi and Peshawar.”
He complained that one sided decision was made at the court in rescheduling the presidential elections.
He thanked his possible allies including Awami National Party, Qaumi Watan Party and other nationalists party for favouring him for the presidential polls.
PML-Q Boycotts Too!
An ally of the PPP led government, Pakistan Muslim League-Q has also announced boycotting the polls too.
