Though Korean giant Samsung seems to be indifferent from any official announcement about its next generation flagship smartphone, an array of ‘leaks’ and ‘reliable source’ is making it confirm that Galaxy S4 is in final stages of development.
Some of rumors and speculations around release and price Galaxy S4 are as follow:
Samsung Galaxy s4 Release Date
Fans were expecting that Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2013 would have been the platform to showcase Glaxy S4, but the Samsung did not unveil it rather focused on its range of TVs and home appliances.
But there are some reasons that make the release of S4 in April 2013, as some tech sites and forums have repeatedly been saying, a valid guess.
Galaxy S3 was released in May last month, but Google’s Nexus 4, a much cheaper smartphone than its competitor, gave a tough competition with some other products.
According to Expert Reviews “It’s much more likely that Samsung will hold of its announcement until Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona at the end of February or, at least, in an individual event shortly after.”
So Samsung is likely to announce launch of Galaxy S4 somewhere in the end of February.
Galaxy S4 Price
Speculations around possible price of Galaxy S4 is not so pocket-friendly till now and if assume it would match price of Galaxy S3, which has made Samsung dominant player in smartphone market, then the price could be around £499 or $787.
As compared to iPhone handsets it’s quite cheaper though when it comes to Google Nexus 4, a smartphone with latest Android version and much better quality operating system, it could be considered as an expensive set.
But will Samsung be compelled to lower its price to give stiff competition to Nexus devices as well as iPhone 5 (and expected iPhone 6) is a million dollar question. Samsung executives must have been their heads together on pricing strategy to keep their leadership in smartphone market.
