London: The Samsung Galaxy S4 — a highly anticipated next-generation Samsung flagship handset — is rumoured to be running on Tizen OS.
In a recent Bloomberg report, Samsung confirmed that it would be moving away from Android and will begin releasing handsets running Tizen OS to take more control of its mobile experience that it is delivering to its users.
It will basically allow Samsung to have its own eco system. With Tizen, the company will now have full control over updates, features and hardware specifications of all of its products.
Another rumour says that the Samsung will use its new Exynos 5 Octa-core processor in the Galaxy S4.
At CES, the South Korean firm has also released a video which displayed that how the new Exynos 5 Octa-core processor will run and how it will utilize its cores to give devices the best performance possible.
Samsung has promised that the new processor will be the most powerful processor to ever be used on a smartphone or tablet.
