Karachi: The Sindh High Court on Tuesday issued notices to Sindh chief secretary, home secretary and DG Rangers over an application filed by Mohajir Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chairman Afaq Ahmed.
Afaq Ahmed filed the application through his lawyer, fearing that he would be killed or arrested again if the court released him.
The detained leader said that he had no confidence in police and be kept under the supervision of secret agencies as his life was under threat.
He said that thousands of his party members had already been killed. He prayed that Rangers personnel be deployed for his security.
