Washington: United States Defence Secretary Leon Panetta has said that there is fear of terrorist attacks from Pakistan.
He said this while briefing Armed Services Committee of Congress in Washington on Thursday.
The US Defence Secretary said that there is fear of big terror attacks from Pakistan, Somalia and North Africa.
Newly appointed Joint Chiefs of Staff General Martin Dempsey has said that now terrorist have formed a syndicate.
US officials have escalated their rhetoric against Pakistan in the recent weeks , accusing the country of assisting the Haqqani network of Taliban, blamed for recent attack on the US embassy in Kabul.
But Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said on Wednesday that the US had no option except working with Pakistan to fight against terror.
