Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) exchanged harsh statements against each other in the National Assembly on Tuesday.
Uproar began when MQM lawmaker Asif Husnain asked the PML-N to first deal with the PML-Q’s female members before speaking on Karachi situation.
He alleged that the Punjab has become a police state because of people like Rana Maqbool.
The PML-N leader Ehasan Iqbal while referring to a statement of MQM chief Altaf Hussain said that who gave the contract to Altaf to impose martial law in Punjab.
Chief of the PPP of its on faction Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao said that if the issue of Karachi was not resolved it would engulf all the country.
He criticized the federal government for being a silent spectator over killing of Pukhtuns in the metropolis.
