Islamabad: The Pakistan People’s Party senator Anwar Baig has resigned from the party after he was suspended for his meeting with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Nawaz Sharif.
According to a message sent to the media by Anwar Baig also included a copy of his resignation which was sent to PPP Secretary General Jehangir Badar.
In his resignation, Anwar Baig wrote that he did not wish to offer any clarification on his suspension from the party and was resigning immediately.
