Trent Bridge: India will be facing England in the second test of the series today at the Trent Bridge.
The Indian team is very much vulnerable to England as their key-player Zaheer Khan, is out of the team due to a hamstring injury.
India still stands prone to further loss of players with Gautam Gambhir, feared to join the list. Guatam Gambhir is recovering from a blow to the elbow he took in the first Testy against England.
In the second test England are the favorites, but however nothing can be said for sure as India is known to strike back. England too has its own injury problem with their fast bowler Chris Tremlett being troubled with a hamstring injury. However, the English captain Andrew Strauss is confident Tremlett will be fit to play. The expected replacement in case Tremlett is unable to play is Tim Bresnan.
Names of the players in the two teams are as follows:
England: Alastair Cook, Andrew Strauss (capt), Jonathan Trott, Kevin Pietersen, Ian Bell, Eoin Morgan, Matt Prior (wk), Graeme Swann, Stuart Broad, Chris Tremlett/Tim Bresnan, James Anderson.
India:Abhinav Mukund, Gautam Gambhir/Yuvraj Singh, Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman, Suresh Raina, MS Dhoni (capt & wk), Harbhajan Singh, Praveen Kumar, Ishant Sharma, Sreesanth.
