Pakistan’s premier real estate website Zameen successfully concluded its flagship real estate event, the two-day Zameen Property Expo 2016, in Lahore on May 28 and 29. This expo was the biggest realty affair of the year in terms of traffic and the number of on-the-spot deals struck.
Despite the scorching heat, the event saw a massive footfall of 55,000 people, more than any edition of the expo, and multiple MPAs, MNAs, business tycoons and celebrities were in attendance. Developers, agents, buyers, sellers, prospective investors and real estate enthusiasts gathered at the Expo Centre in Johar Town for a productive weekend of information exchange and highly beneficial deals.
Among the esteemed guests on the first day were Excise & Taxation Minister Mian Mujtabah Shuja Ur Rehman, and Member of National Assembly Mohsin Nawaz Ranjha, while Habib Rafiq (Pvt) Ltd Managing Director Habib Ahmad, Member of Provincial Assembly and Advisor to the Chief Minister Malik Saif Ul Malook Khokar, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Youth Wing President Malik Muhammad Imran Shafi and Chacha Cricket visited during the second day. All the honourable guests took a round of the floor and applauded Team Zameen’s efforts.
Over 105 exhibitors signed up to showcase their projects and services, leading Zameen to expand the event to both Hall 1 and Hall 2 at the venue. Among this impressive line-up of exhibitors were Star Marketing, Diamond Jumbolon, Icon Valley, Indigo Heights, Orbit Developers, Athar Marketing, Pak Asia Group, Punjab Industrial Estate, Al Brooj Estate, and Fast Marketing. As the weekend drew to a close, a great deal of invaluable information had been shared and many deals struck.
“This expo has been an exceptional experience for our team. We made many new clients and also closed some important deals,” said Samara Khurram, Icon Valley’s Assistant Manager of Business Development.
Athar’s Marketing Network Manager Ali Sheikh agreed.
“The exhibition has proved to be extremely useful and we are very happy with the response we received. It’s highly commendable that Zameen was able to organise three amazing expos around Pakistan in such a short time frame,” said Sheikh.
Zameen’s expos are renowned for being family affairs and this one was no exception. The ‘Wheel of Fortune’ continued to spin non-stop, while winners of the grand lucky draw took home gold coins, motorcycles and home appliances. Other exciting features, including interactive photo booths and over 14 popular food vendors, amped up the visitor experience.
“Our property expos in Lahore are always huge success stories, but the response we have received this time around is truly overwhelming. An extraordinary number of exhibitors signed up, which proves how highly they value these events as a way to grow their businesses,” said Zameen CEO Zeeshan Ali Khan.
“We are sure that real estate enthusiasts from across the city and beyond have appreciated the monumental effort that has gone into putting on a show of this scale. As the country’s largest, most loved property portal, we will continue to host more expos, as there is clearly a need for events that serve as a one-stop shop for all real estate related concerns,” he added.
Zameen, founded in 2006 by the Ali Khan brothers, touched the 3 million property listings mark on the first day of the Zameen Property Expo 2016 (Lahore). Since its inception, the company has shown remarkable progression and now boasts a team of over 600 people, presence in 30 major cities and offices in 11, and over 3.5 million monthly visits.
