New Dehli: Indian Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh has expressed hoped that Pakistan would run off Kashmir issue, the long standing dispute between two rival countries.
While talking to newspapers’ editors on Wednesday, Indian Prime Minster said that he has no plan to visit Pakistan in near future.
He hoped that Islamabad government would quit Kashmir issue because Pakistan was facing internal challenges.
He said Pakistan’s measures against militancy were not sufficient. Islamabad government has to take more strong measures to curb militancy, he added.
Dr Singh democratic Pakistan was in favour of India.
At the other hand, Chairman Pakistan’s Joint Chief of Staff Committee, General Shamim Waen, said that peace in the region was impossible unless Kashmir dispute resolve.
