Islamabad: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s meeting with Government and Taliban committee has been concluded, media reported.
Maulana Sami-ul-Haq, a member of Taliban committee, said, while talking to media, that PM Nawaz Sharif wants to take this collaboration (Government-Taliban) one step ahead.
He also said that we have reached a point where participation from each influential circle is crucial.
Taliban has nothing to do with Islamabad district court attack, he clarified. Government and Taliban committee will visit North Waziristan to investigate further about Islamabad suicide attack and firing incident.
The agenda for today’s meeting was to discuss whether to make any changes in the committee members or not.
Irfan Siddiqui, Rahim Ullah Yousafzai, Major(r) Aamir and Rustam Shah were representing the Government committee in the meeting. While Maulana Sami-ul-Haq, Professor Ibrahim and Yousaf Shah were there from Taliban committee.
PM Nawaz Sharif initiated this meet-up and invited the relevant parties for breakfast. Interior Minister Ch. Nisar was also present in this meeting.
The further procedure of peach talk was one of the key point to be discussed by all committee members, PM and Interior Minister.
