Islamabad: State Minister for Water and Power, Abid Sher Ali has given some good news that the government has been busy to include 2500 MW electricity to the national grid which help to reduce energy crisis by this summer in the country.
The Minister said that the government has made a mechanism to cut power for all consumer who do did pay their bills to facilitate the user who performed his duties by paying 100% bills.
He further said that load shedding duration would be reduced by this summer to 8 hours from 18 to 20 hours.
He said that government was also working on LNG import which would enable the country to add 2000 to 3000 MW power in the national grid this year by operating those plants which were shut down due to non-availability of gas.
