CHITTAGONG: Bangladesh batsmen have drawn the second and last Test match against Sri Lankan Tigers at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong.
In the first innings, Sri Lanka set a massive 587 runs trail for Bangladesh batsmen in the second Test match.
Sri Lankan player Kumar Sangakara knocked marvelous triple-century, while Bangladeshi bowler Shakib Al Hasan took 5 wickets giving 148 runs in his 34 overs.
Bangal Tigers carefully replied Sri Lankan Tigers and succeeded to score 426 runs with lost all out.
Bangla player Imrul Kayes made 115 runs with an outstanding performance, while Sri Lankan bowler Ajantha Mendis took 6 wickets giving 99 runs in his 29.5 overs.
In the second innings, Sri Lanka got 161 runs lead from opposite team and declared batting after scoring more 305 runs losing 4 wickets.
Bangladeshi batsmen drew the match to score 271 runs losing 3 wickets instead 466 runs target in the last Test match.
Kumar Sangakara got the ‘Man of the Match’ and he also received the ‘Player of the Series’ as well for his aggregate of 499 runs that included a triple ton, a ton and a fifty.
