KARACHI: The Sindh’s Information Minister Sharjeel Memon on Monday has declared that license renewal date of arms and weapons will not be extended.
In a recent statement, he said that failing to renew license within the given time will mean the cancellation of the right to hold a weapon.
“Government has launched campaign to rid the province of un-licensed weapons and this time, its last chance” he said while repeating his government’s resolve to establish peace in the province.
The last date to renew arms license in Sindh is 31st January 2014.
The Minister also told media that the provincial government has given full authority to police and rangers to curb crime and killings in the province and no criminal will be spared.
