ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan’s Federal Minister of Water and Power, Khawaja Muhammad Asif, on Thursday has announced large-scale load shedding across the country and placed regrets before the nation.
Khawaja Muhammad Asif made early regret before the nation for facing severe electricity shortage in coming weeks as the higher authorities changed power provision plans.
Asif issued the statement that the governmental authorities finalised the decision for gas provision to the industrial sector during the winter season which would increase the electricity shortfall in domestic section of the country.
He also clarified that the generation of electricity is expectedly decreased due to the significant shortage of water recorded in the canals.
Khawaja M. Asif claimed that the power ministry took prominent steps for eliminating load shedding in Pakistan in maximum, however, he appealed the locals to symbolise the power saving for helping the government countering the menace.
