LAHORE: All opposition parties in Punjab have announced to join for fight against the ruling party Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) in forthcoming local bodies election, The News Tribe reported.
In a joint meeting, the leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PML-Q), Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) agreed on adopting a joint strategy against PML-N.
The leaders from all opposition political parties in Punjab agreed to expand cooperation and seat adjustment during the upcoming local government election across Punjab province.
Later, an opposition leader in National Assembly of Pakistan and PPP’s leader Khusheed Shah said that his party will provide maximum support any alliance against PML-N in Punjab.
