Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has appointed Shireen Mazari as his spokeswoman on Tuesday, which means he is now equal to the party’s senior vice president.
Imran announced the decision during a meeting in Lahore on Tuesday evening held in order to issue party tickets for coming polls.
The PTI chief said impartial caretaker setup is prerequisite for transparent elections.
Mazari rejoined the PTI yesterday after having left the party in September.
