Islamabad: Pakistan’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hina Rabbani Khar on Thursday said that the United State has not expressed reservations on the Pakistan-Iran gas pipeline project.
Talking to media, Khar said that the statement of the deputy spokesman of the US state department was taken in a wring context adding that she had seen the statement and there was no reservations on the pipeline project.
“Neither there is pressure from United States nor US have discussed the matter with us,”she said.
The minister further criticized media and said that he media was creating problems by twisting the statements of the US officials on the project adding that the people should have to be delighted that the country was getting gas on cheap price.
