Islamabad: A disagreement was witnessed between the government and the Senate’s Standing Committee on Tuesday when the body’s chairman, Mushahid Hussain Syed insisted on briefing in the presence of media representatives.
The argument took place during the visit of the committee on defence production of Air Headquarters.
The high-ups of Pak Air Force insisted that the briefing should not be held in front of media, while Mushahid Hussain contended that the trend of concealing matters relating to national institutions and general public should now end.
