Islamabad: Showing their interest in the Pakistan-India clash today, the Pakistan’s president has directed the prime minister to make sure there would be no load-shedding of electricity across the country during the match.
Both archrivals are going to take on each other in a thrilling Super Eights round of International Cricket Council (ICC) World Twenty20 at Ranasinghe Premadasa Stadium in Colombo at 7pm PST.
President Asif Ali Zardari, who is currently in the UK, has directed Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf to maintain uninterruptible power supply during the match.
India, who lost to Australia by nine wickets in the first match, must win the clash to survive in the event.
Pakistan, who never defeated India in the ICC events in any format of the game, will try to shed the tag of losing to the neighbouring in world events.
However, Pakistan beat India in the warm-up match, but the cricket gurus have termed the India favourite for the match. They say the match is a final before the final for both the teams.
