Dubai: Pakistan cricket team on Friday batted well against the strong Australian pace attack and set a target of 152 runs in the second T20 played at Dubai International Cricket Stadium , Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Although the opening batsman Imran Nazir got out at duck but Hafeez and Nasir Shehzad who scored 45 runs played brilliantly to stable the Pakistani innings. Kamran Akmal’s blistering inning of 43 runs in the later part of the innings helped the team to score a reasonable target of 152 runs for the loss of four wickets.
Australian bowlers tried to restrict the flurry of runs but failed in their attempt. Cummins, Starc, Watson and Christian shared one wicket each.
