Dallas: Imad Wasim, an important all-rounder for Pakistan’s national cricket team currently in the United States for the T20 World Cup, has been ruled out of the team’s first match in the World Cup.
Confirming Imad Wasim’s unavailability for Pakistan’s first match in the World Cup, Captain Babar Azam stated that Imad Wasim is suffering from side strain, which is why he won’t be able to play the team’s first match.
Captain Babar Azam mentioned that Imad Wasim will not play the first match but expressed hope that he will be available for the rest of the matches for the team.
It is noteworthy that the Pakistan cricket team will play its first match against the USA in the World Cup on June 6.
