Riyadh: The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, has issued a royal directive to host 1000 family members of Palestinian martyrs, prisoners, and wounded for Hajj, stating that since its inception 26 years ago, the program has hosted over 60,000 pilgrims.

According to media reports, on King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud’s directives, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs will oversee the program for the guests of the Two Holy Mosques. A total number of 2,322 pilgrims from over 88 countries will be hosted for this year’s Hajj as part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Guests Program. This includes 1,300 pilgrims from various countries, and 1,000 pilgrims from families of Palestinian martyrs, prisoners, and wounded.

The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, Abdul Latif bin Abdul Aziz Al Sheikh, said that this directive reflects the Saudi leadership’s efforts to strengthen unity and brotherhood among Muslims worldwide. Preparations to host these pilgrims have begun, and a strategic plan has been prepared.

It is noted that every year, several individuals from around the world perform Hajj as royal guests under this program, and this time, the relatives of Palestinian martyrs have been included.
