Islamabad: The Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, have accepted the invitation extended by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to visit Pakistan.
The decision was made apparent during separate meetings held in Islamabad between Prime Minister Shehbaz and Kuwait’s Ambassador to Pakistan Nassar Abdulrahman Jasser Almutairi, as well as Qatar’s Ambassador to Pakistan Ali Mubarak Ali Essa Al-Khater.
During the meeting with the Kuwaiti ambassador, Prime Minister Shehbaz was presented with a letter from the Emir of Kuwait expressing his intent to visit Pakistan on mutually agreed dates. The prime minister, in turn, highlighted his recent interaction with the Kuwaiti emir during the World Economic Forum’s special meeting in Riyadh.
Similarly, in his meeting with the Qatari envoy, the prime minister received a letter from Qatar’s Emirz Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, accepting the invitation to officially visit Pakistan on dates mutually convenient for both parties.
PM Shehbaz reiterated Pakistan’s deep appreciation for its longstanding fraternal ties with Qatar and reaffirmed the nation’s steadfast commitment to enhancing cooperation between the two brotherly nations.
