Arabic Learning Center Established in Karachi

Karachi: With the collaboration of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Stivita, an Arabic language learning center has been established in the Government Vocational Training Institute in the Buffer Zone area of Karachi.

Bakheet Ateeq Al-Remeithi, the Consul General of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Karachi, inaugurated the Arabic language center. During the ceremony, Consul General Al-Remeithi highlighted the invaluable contributions of Pakistanis to the development of Dubai and emphasized the strong historical ties between Pakistan and the UAE. He underscored the pivotal roles played by many Pakistanis across various sectors in different cities of the UAE.

He mentioned that many Pakistanis are working in various cities of the United Arab Emirates. He stated that previously, people used to get employment in the UAE after completing an Arabic language course, but this trend has decreased over time.

The UAE Consul General stated that around 7 million Pakistanis are working in Gulf countries, and the language barrier was a significant issue. People couldn’t express their issues to doctors due to a lack of proficiency in the language.

Expressing optimism for the future, Consul General Al-Remeithi assured Pakistani nationals of preferential treatment in job opportunities across various sectors in the UAE. Additionally, he unveiled plans to streamline visa processes for students of the vocational center, creating pathways for employment in the UAE. He urged students to remain vigilant against misinformation circulating on social media platforms.
