Gaza: The death toll in Gaza due to Israel’s relentless assault has surged to a staggering 32,845. Additionally, at least 75,392 Palestinians have been wounded.
The grim statistics come as the violence escalates, with 63 more lives lost and 94 individuals sustaining injuries within the past 24 hours alone.
In a devastating turn of events, the Israeli military has concluded its two-week raid on Gaza’s al-Shifa Hospital, withdrawing from the premises but leaving behind a harrowing scene of destruction. The siege of the medical facility, which commenced on March 18, resulted in the tragic demise of 21 patients, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).
Adding to the carnage, at least four individuals fell victim to an Israeli air attack on the courtyard of Al-Aqsa Hospital in central Gaza, further exacerbating the humanitarian crisis in the region.
It remains evident that the genocidal attacks of the Israeli forces on Gaza continue. The UN reports that 85% of Gaza’s population has been displaced internally, with critical shortages of food, water, and medicine, while 60% of the enclave’s infrastructure has been damaged or destroyed.
Israel faces accusations of genocide at the International Court of Justice, with an interim ruling in January ordering Tel Aviv to cease genocidal acts and ensure the provision of humanitarian assistance to civilians in Gaza, which so far has gone unheeded as relentless Israeli attacks on Gaza claim the lives of hundreds of Palestinians daily.
