London: Medical experts have warned that weight loss medications could potentially harm the body.
According to international news agencies, experts from a pharmaceutical company have cautioned that injections used for weight loss could lead to muscle contraction in patients.
It should be noted that the regular use of such injections has been approved in the UK, which makes it easier to deal with issues like obesity, but other side effects are now emerging. Pascal Soriot, the owner of AstraZeneca (COVID vaccine), has warned that an injection called Wegovy could be a major cause of muscle contraction in patients.
Previously, medical experts had warned that the use of such injections increases the ratio of fat in the user’s muscles, and if the use of these medications is stopped, weight gain could occur again.
Experts say that while using weight loss medication, users harm themselves by increasing the fat in their muscles. Mostly, as soon as individuals stop taking medication, the amount of fat increases even though there is no increase in muscles.
