Islamabad: Jamaat-e-Islami’s response has also emerged after Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI_ announced its willingness to form a government in KP in collaboration with Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan.
Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan’s Deputy Emir Liaqat Baloch stated that negotiations have been ongoing with the PTI for three days, and we are ready for cooperation with PTI, but internal consultation will be conducted first before any final decision is reached.
Liaqat Baloch mentioned that we had requested time for consultation, and after consultation, we will respond to PTI. Currently, no verbal or written agreement has been made. The Deputy Emir of Jamaat-e-Islami said that currently, no discussion has taken place regarding the Senate or the selection of the Prime Minister.
