Death Toll in Gaza Climbs to 28,340, Thousands Missing Amid Ongoing Israeli Attacks

Gaza Strip: Israeli forces have killed at least 100 Palestinians in air and sea assaults on Rafah early Monday.

According to details, Israeli air and sea strikes on Rafah overnight resulted in the deaths of at least 100 Palestinians. The situation in Gaza has seriously deteriorated with Israel’s attacks on Rafah, where over 1.4 million.

The Palestinian Information Center has informed on its social media account that the majority of the casualties are children and women. Israel has targeted several houses, including two mosques, in various areas of Rafah. Among the injured in the Israeli attacks, ten are reported to be in critical condition.

Israeli forces also conducted 19 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of 164 people and injuring 200 in the past 24 hours alone.

The death toll since the onset of Israeli aggression on Gaza has surged to 28,340, with 67,984 individuals wounded, mostly women and children. Tragically, thousands of civilians remain missing, trapped under debris and in the streets, as Israeli occupation forces obstruct access for ambulance crews and civil defense teams attempting rescue efforts.

The Israeli offensive has resulted in 85% of Gaza’s population being internally displaced. Moreover, the UN highlights acute shortages of food, clean water, and medicine, with 60% of the enclave’s infrastructure damaged or destroyed.

Due to the lack of food, medicines, and basic supplies and facilities, the lives of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians are at great risk.

Hamas on Sunday accused the Israeli army of pursuing a genocidal approach after approximately 100 bodies were discovered in Gaza City following the Israeli withdrawal. Hamas called on the International Court of Justice to document these alleged crimes. Despite facing trial in the ICJ for genocide against Palestinians, the Israeli army continues to target civilians in Gaza.

Moreover, on Monday, the Israeli military raided the headquarters of the Bank of Palestine in Gaza, stealing 200 million shekels ($54.29 million) from the Bank of Palestine headquarters in Gaza City, as detailed by Israeli newspaper Maariv on Sunday.
