Karachi: Stringent Action Announced Against New Year’s Aerial Firing Offenders

Karachi Police Chief Khadim Hussain Rand has announced an intention to take strict legal action against individuals involved in aerial firing on New Year’s Eve. While speaking to a private TV channel, Additional IG Khadim Hussain Rand stated that cases would be registered against those involved in aerial firing, including charges related to attempted murder.

It is noteworthy that the caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar has announced the celebration of New Year’s with simplicity to express solidarity with Palestinians. Following this, the federal capital Islamabad’s administration had revoked all permits for fireworks on New Year’s.
