Worldwide Protests in Solidarity with Palestinians and Against Israeli Aggression

Jakarta: A series of large-scale protests are ongoing worldwide against Israeli atrocities in Gaza.

In the Indonesian capital Jakarta, hundreds of demonstrators gathered outside the American Embassy, demanding an end to the ethnic cleansing in Gaza.

In Melbourne, Australia, protesters holding Palestinian flags marched from the State Library to the Parliament, expressing solidarity with Palestinians. Intensity grew in protests in Tel Aviv, Israel, after the killing of three Israeli soldiers by the Israeli army in Gaza. Demonstrators demanded an immediate ceasefire and the release of prisoners.

In Spain, a significant number of children and adults staged a demonstration in front of the parliament, expressing solidarity with the children of Gaza who are victims of Israeli aggression.

In North London, protesters reached the residence of the Israeli ambassador during a rally, chanting slogans for the freedom of Palestine and an end to the war in Gaza. In Sweden, a protest in favor of Palestine took place, and hundreds of individuals at Stockholm’s Stortorget Square demanded an end to the hostilities.

It’s noteworthy that on the voting for the Gaza ceasefire resolution at the United Nations, Scottish National Party leader Stephen Flynn criticized British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak for the absence of a British representative in voting. Flynn said that our ally countries voted courageously for a ceasefire, but shamefully, Britain abstained from voting.
