Karachi: Co-chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party, Asif Zardari, has disclosed that they were asked to form an alliance with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
In an interview, the former president and PPP co-chairman, Asif Ali Zardari, claimed that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf had proposed an alliance with them. He mentioned that PTI had offered them six ministries, to which he responded by questioning why they were being offered ministries.
He stated that during the tenure of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Pakistan became isolated in the world. The PTI government had adversely affected the national economy.
Speaking about the upcoming general elections, the former president asserted that he is confident the elections will take place on February 8. Therefore, the Pakistan Peoples Party is actively engaged in political activities.
