Gaza: The United Nations has stated that since October 7, in the intense Israeli attacks in Gaza, more than 14,700 Palestinians have been martyred, among whom 74% are women and children.
According to a statement issued by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees approximately 1.7 million Palestinians, accounting for nearly 90% of Gaza’s population, have become homeless due to the Israeli onslaught.
The statement also revealed that by November 21, out of the 137,000 homeless individuals, around 77,000 are currently taking refuge in 156 UN buildings in the central and southern regions of Gaza, including Khan Yunis and Rafah.
The World Health Organization reported that, amidst the crisis, the organization is working with 32 bakeries to provide food in Gaza, and 100,000 people in shelters are being supplied with food. However, the food distribution system has been disrupted, making it challenging to provide meals to additional individuals.
