New York: The humanitarian agency of the United Nations has declared Gaza as the hell on earth. The spokesperson for the UN’s agency for humanitarian affairs stated in a media briefing that if there’s a hell on Earth, it’s in northern Gaza.
Trucks carrying relief supplies have reached the southern regions of Gaza, but aid is not reaching the northern strip of Gaza.
The spokesperson further stated that there is an urgent need for emergency aid for hundreds of thousands of people in the northern regions of Gaza. Delay in delivering aid could result in further significant losses.
Israel has imposed a blockade on Gaza for several days, denying permission to deliver relief supplies, including food, medicines, and essential items, to the besieged individuals.
A group within the United Nations has condemned Israel’s bombardment and attacks on Gaza, terming it as genocide against Palestinians. More than 11,000 Palestinians have been martyred in Israel’s inhumane actions so far.
