With this feature, users can make calls to contacts saved in their address book, followed users, and verified users via options available in the toggle.
To use this feature, users need to go to Direct Message (DM) to call another user. In addition, there is an icon at the top right of the screen where users can select audio or video calls.
Initially, this feature has been introduced for users of iOS, and an update for Android users is expected to be released soon, although no specific date has been announced regarding this matter.
