Erdogan Calls for the Establishment of a Free Palestinian State

Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has commented on the recent Israel-Palestine tensions, emphasizing the need for the establishment of a free Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.

In a statement, President Erdogan stated that efforts will be made to enhance diplomacy for peace between Israel and Palestine, acknowledging that the Israel-Palestine conflict lies at the core of Middle Eastern disputes.

President Erdogan highlighted that, for regional stability, a two-state solution remains the only viable path, and the time has come for the establishment of a free Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
