Ranipur: The postmortem report of the young girl named Fatima, who died in Ranipur, Khairpur district, reveals that her death was caused by injuries from physical abuse.
The report, submitted to the Judicial Magistrate’s court in Ranipur, states that Fatima had suffered injuries to her head, chest, and arms due to violence. It further adds that the lack of medical treatment after the abuse led to her death.
Fatima’s body was exhumed for a postmortem on the orders of the Civil and Judicial Magistrate. The report highlights that the cause of her death was the combination of untreated injuries from physical abuse.
It is worth mentioning that Pir Asad Shah Jeelani of Ranipur Khairpur was arrested for allegedly torturing his 10-year-old maid Fatima to death. This case initially came to light when a video clip of the minor girl, Fatima, whose body had severe torture marks went viral on social media.
This disturbing incident has brought attention to the issue of violence against children, especially young girls, in the region. Authorities have assured that the perpetrators will be brought to justice soon.
