The Hague: The incident of blasphemy against the Holy Quran has occurred in Netherlands, following a similar incident in Sweden.
According to international media reports, an infamous Dutch politician and leader of the far-right White Family Party showed extreme disrespect towards the Holy Quran in front of the Turkish Embassy. The individual in question was accompanied by two others.
In an attempt to prevent the desecration of the Holy Quran by the disgraced Dutch politician, Muslim protesters gathered at the scene. However, the police prevented them from approaching further, and some individuals even threw stones at the offender.
Reports suggest that some individuals tried to pursue the infamous politician, but the police eventually arrested them. Later, they were released.
The Dutch Justice Minister who is of Turkish descent expressed deep regret over the incident. It is worth noting that in the Netherlands, there is no law in place to prevent such extremist demonstrations and actions. Just a few days ago, another incident of desecration of the Holy Quran occurred in Sweden when a cursed individual desecrated the Holy Quran in front of the royal palace. No legal action was taken against the perpetrator in that case
