Court’s Order to Arrest Imran Khan is Correct, Says Pervez Khattak

Islamabad: Former Defense Minister Pervez Khan Khattak has stated that if the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has been arrested based on a court decision, then it is a rightful arrest as our courts are free and independent.

Pervez Khattak asked that who came out on the streets for the Chairman of PTI. He further stated that empty words hold no weight, and deceiving people cannot lead to the betterment of the country and that he wants to inform the public that the PTI Chairman is not creating a ‘Naya Pakistan’ but wants to become a dictator, wage war against the army, and bring chaos to the country.

He added that Imran Khan has come to spread unrest in the country and wants to become a dictator and initiate a revolution against the military. Pervez Khattak said he has no objection to elections being delayed; in fact, he is happy about it and he predicted that the general elections will take place in February next year before the Senate elections. “Let a capable individual become the Prime Minister, someone who will work for the betterment of the country”, he stated.

Pervez Khattak said that receiving gifts and then selling them is a matter of great shame. The Prime Minister’s actions were entirely inappropriate. The PTI Chairman concealed many things, did not disclose several matters, and did not reveal the prices. This is very embarrassing for us, and the court’s decision is indeed correct. Besides this, many other things are also coming to light, and there are some cases that are very strong.
