Police Obtains Image of Bajaur Suicide Bomber, Death Toll Reaches 63

Bajaur: The police have obtained the image of the suicide bomber involved in the attack that occurred on 30th July at the JUI Workers Convention, as reported by the media.

According to reports, the responsibility for the suicide attack at the JUI (Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam) workers’ convention in Bajaur was claimed by the proscribed organization Daesh (ISIS). In this attack, 63 people were martyred, and more than 123 others were injured.

According to Dr. Liaquat Ali at the MS District Headquarters Hospital in Khar, Bajaur, the death toll from the Bajaur blast has reached 63 so far. After the explosion, 43 bodies were brought to the Khar Hospital. Dr. Liaquat Ali further mentioned that one severely injured person passed away at LRH Peshawar, four at CMH Peshawar, and two at Timergara Hospital. Additionally, 13 bodies were taken by their relatives from the scene of the incident.

The United States and Afghanistan have strongly condemned the attack, expressing sorrow and grief over the loss of human lives. Daesh had also released an image on social media showing a person wearing a scarf on their face and holding a pistol in hand.
