Kabul: Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesperson for the Taliban government, has stated that the land of Afghanistan will not be used against Pakistan. He stated that the interim Afghan government has made agreements with the United States, not Pakistan, regarding the Doha Agreement.
In response to a statement by Pakistan’s Defense Minister, Khawaja Asif, during an interview with a British news agency, accusing terrorists crossing the border from Afghan territory, Zabihullah Mujahid clarified that they have signed agreements with the United States on the Doha Agreement. He further added that the land of Afghanistan will not be used against Pakistan, as Pakistan is a brotherly and Muslim country, and the interim government has maintained a similar relationship with neighboring countries. Zabihullah Mujahid reiterated that if the Pakistani government provides evidence of their claims, the interim government will take appropriate action.
