Pakistan a Safe Country for Religious Tourists: Buddhist Religious Leader

Islamabad: A Buddhist religious leader has stated that Pakistan is an extremely safe country for religious tourists.

The Buddhist religious leaders have visited Pakistan and during their stay in Islamabad, they also had a media conversation along with Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s Chairman of the Task Force and the Minister of State, Dr. Ramesh Kumar Vankwani on Gandhara Tourism. The Buddhist leader praised the Pakistani government for taking excellent measures to preserve the ancient relics of Buddhism. He expressed his satisfaction with his visit to Pakistan and mentioned that there are more than 6,000 Buddhist sites in the country.
