Tokyo: Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Bilawal Bhutto has said that until the dispute over Jammu and Kashmir is resolved in accordance with the United Nations Security Council resolutions through negotiations, there can be no peace in South Asia.
The Foreign Minister said that Pakistan and Japan need to work together to promote regional relations and increase trade volume in the entire region by establishing a strong and effective framework system.
He said that both countries could play a role in developing SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation) countries by using their strengths and regional efforts. He added Pakistan is ready to play its role in this resolution.
Bilawal said that India is trapped in religious fanaticism and has closed the path of negotiations and diplomacy. Regarding Afghanistan, the Foreign Minister said that Pakistan and Japan can play a role in establishing a stable, secure, and prosperous Afghanistan.
