WASHINGTON- Panama leaks, or Panama Papers have jolted the whole world by revealing big names as stories of corruption and bad governance. The leaked documents contain the names of 12 serving heads of the state, several political leaders and celebrities as well. But the strange facts is no American name has been named in media.
This does not mean that it does not exist. There is a name listed in the leaks who is American citizen. Olszewski is a thirty nine year old investment advisor and author of a book, “Live it, Love it, Earn it: A Woman’s Guide to Financial Freedom.”
The reason why media is not creating hype is because the name is nothing when compared to the other names disclosed by the leaks. And also one thing which is worth mentioning here is that it is not the only American name is the leaks.
There are 211 American names found in the leak but for some it is not confirmed yet that these are US citizens while for the others these are not prominent names.
As for the companies and trusts set up by Mossack Fonseca, six hundred and seventeen are based in United States. The figure tells a lot.
So we cannot say that American names are not present, they are just eclipsed and are out of sight because of the prominent names.
Furthermore, the names revealed are only the steam of the dish. Whole dish is yet to come out.
