LAHORE: Head Coach Waqar Younis wanted to stay on the post till England tour causing a rift between Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Najam Sethi and Head Coach Waqar Younis.
Details revealed that Head Coach Waqar Younis lashed out on Chairman Sethi and other officials after he was denied to continue his duties as Head Coach of national cricket team.
Reports also revealed that Waqar Younis called Chairman PCB Najam Sethi and they had a telephonic quarrel where Waqar accused Chairman of leaking his report because the Chairman did not wish to see him working as the coach.
Reports also revealed that Waqar wanted to keep working as Head Coach till the up coming England tour however Chairman told him that the decision would be taken after the committee submits its report.
Waqar and Chairman had another quarrel earlier in the year when Chairman denied Waqar a stay in Dubai during Pakistan Super League due to lack of funds.
