LAHORE: After months of distress and disappointment due to poor performance of Pakistan cricket team, there is something for cricket fans to cheer about.
According to a US owned West Indian TV channel Willow TV reports, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) were in talks for months about a possible Windies’ tour to Pakistan.
The report says that a breakthrough has been made between both boards and West Indies team may tour Pakistan in October 2016.
Earlier, Afghanistan Cricket Board has also conditionally agreed to tour Pakistan in the month of April.
PCB has requested federal, Punjab and Sindh government for security assurance.
