KARACHI: Chief of newly incepted Pak Sarzameen Party Mustafa Kamal talking to the first official meeting of the party stated that we are not here to start a new power struggle. He demanded local government system under the constitution of Pakistan.
He said that the founding members of the new party were all in power positions but we left these positions for our principles. Today people of Pakistan are divided into political parties and sect. Everyone is accusing others of being bad Muslims and Pakistanis.
We will not allow any further polarization therefore we have decided not to create a new Party flag. We will not let the nation rally under our flag and continue the prevailing polarization. We will be using Pakistani flag in our offices, rallies or in public. We will create a flag for Election Commission formality and use it there alone.
Former Muttahida Qaumi Movement leaders Anees Advocate, Anees Qaim Khani, Iftikhar Alam, Raza Haroon were also present on the occasion. Mustafa Kamal also stated that our manifesto is under progress and intellectuals from all over Pakistan are working on it. We will announce and discuss it very soon in another conference.
Kamal stated that; “We only invited a few people and the rest are here on their own discretion due to the overwhelming number of attendees.” Today we initiate party of patriot for the love of country on March, 23 the same day as Pakistan.
Other names under consideration where Pakistan Parcham Party and Pakistan Qaumi Movement however Pak Sarzameen Party was finalized with mutual consent.
Earlier Waseem Aftab inaugurated the ceremony stating that we are here to work for Pakistan and Pakistani nation and we require your support for this cause. We are not here to acquire government offices but to serve the Pakistani nation and bring all Pakistani people under one the Pakistani flag. He said the new generation is the hope of our nation.
