KHUZDAR: An Earthquake has jolted Khuzdaar and surrounding areas in Balochistan sending ripples of fear in the area.
Earthquake has reported to hit the surroundings of Khuzdar region however no deaths have been reported so far. According to the earthquake monitoring center the earthquake was recorded 5.3 on the rector scale. The quake originated 15 kilometer west of Khuzdar
Khuzdar lies 76 kilometer south west of a seismic fault-line in Balochistan. Other areas near the same fault line include Bela at 25 kilometer from Khuzdar and 121 kilometer from the fault and Surab at 133 kilometer from the fault line.
