Afridi had been under heavy criticism for not only his poor form but also for the Pakistan T20 side’s bad performance in recent months.
Pakistan media had been making a mockery out of everything that related to Afridi, his statements were highly exaggerated and media created a mountain out of a mole hill when he stated ‘India-Love’ comment.
Afridi score a blasting 49 off just 19 balls against Bangladesh in their first WT20 match, and then removed two in-form batsmen including Tamim Iqbal and Sabbir-ur Rehman.
with this match winning effort, he has come up to be the strongest contender of Man of the Match award and also become the highest wicket taking bowler of WT20 history.
