PESHAWAR: Bomb Blast occurred in Civil Secretariat Bus at Sadar Road in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Blast killed 19 Secretariat Employees including women.
The blast that took place near Sunehri Masjid. The targeted bus belonged to the Civil Secretariat bus and was carrying government employees from Mardan to the provincial capital.
“15 people were killed and 25 others were severely injured,” Superintendent of Police Cantonment Muhammad Kashif told the media.
Injured person were shifted to the largest hospital of KP, Lady Reading Hospital and hospital administrator revealed that several injured people are in critical condition.
Emergency has been imposed in the hospital where non of the government official pay visit so far.
According to eyewitnesses, windows of the buildings nearby were broken due to the intensity of the blast. Rescue team arrived at place and completed the rescue operation. Security forces started the search operation in the area.
